Why ice is slippery
Today I learned that ice isn’t slippery due to pressure or friction but rather due to molecule structures on an atomic level. I also learned that ice colder than -100°C isn’t really slippery and the warmer ice gets the more slippery it becomes as part of a pre-melting phase up to around -7°C where it’s starts to become less slippery again..
